TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

 

General Terms and Conditions written below are valid for the RIXARCH Conference, organized by SIA Biznesa, mākslas un tehnoloģiju augstskola “RISEBA” (reg. No. 40003090010, legal address: Meža iela 3, Rīga, LV-1048, email address: info@riseba.lv )

 

1. Registration is obligatory to attend the conference as a presenter. Payment collection and registration services on behalf of the organizers are provided by MITTO Events by ABC Idea LLC (reg. No. 40103285126, legal address: Andromedas Avenue 1-70, Riga, Latvia, postal code LV-1084, communication email: info@mittoevents.com).

2. The official web page of the RIXARCH Conference is https://www.rixarchconference.com. The Terms & Conditions document incorporates detailed information about each year’s event and is considered an official announcement. The correspondence between info@rixarchconference.com and the email address submitted by the registered parties during the MITTO Events registration is also considered official.

3. Registration fee

3.1. Registration fee covers the entrance for all sessions, conference materials, one copy of the proceedings e-book, and a participation certificate.

3.2. The necessary information for participation certificates is based on the data from the registration forms provided by MITTO Events and completed by the participants. No changes can be made after the conference.

3.3. The texts used in the proceedings e-book will be obtained from the provided Microsoft One Drive folder and uploaded by the already registered participants until the announced full paper submission deadline. No changes can be made after the deadline.

 

4. Registration faults

4.1. The responsibility for any mistake in filling out the registration form or choosing the wrong category belongs to the participants. All related information on registration categories and services is written in the CONFERENCE INFO section of the conference’s official website.

 

5. Language

5.1. All proposals, presentations, and papers must be in English, except if it is mentioned otherwise on the webpage of the conference.

 

6. Cancellation and Refund Conditions

6.1. Registration payments are non-refundable. If you cannot attend the event, you can use your ticket for the following year’s conference or convert it into a Virtual Presentation.

6.2. If the conference is postponed, the announcement will be made 30 days before the conference by the organizer; you will be refunded in total amount, except for the handling and wire transfer fees if you prefer to cancel your registration.

6.3. If an event is cancelled due to a force majeure, the refund conditions in 6.2. will be applied.

6.4. MITTO Events may carry out refunds of credit card payments.

 

7. Papers with Multiple Authors and Separate Papers by the Same Author

7.1. In the case of multiple authors, co-authors other than the first author do not need to register if they will not physically attend the conference.

7.2. If authors other than the presenter of the paper will attend the conference, they will need to register in the Listener/Co-Author category in addition to the presenter’s registration.

7.3. If more than one paper by the same first author will be presented at the conference, they must register separately for each paper. A regular fee will be applied to the first paper, and the additional paper rate will be applied to each subsequent paper.

7.4. If the second author of one paper has another paper to present as the first author, both first authors have to register in the regular registration category. The additional paper category is only valid for the same first author.
